Week 1

PRACTICE
You'll bring play into your work, your relationships, and your daily routines in ways that actually fit your life.

EMBODY

I built Hustle &. Play because I burned out before I could balance the big work I want to do & the fun I was born to have.
I always had purpose and activism. I always had “play” in some form. I always had workouts. And therapy. And plenty of sex & dating.
Turns out if you don’t have a way of tying it all together, it gets the best of you. You can learn more about my story here.
H&P started as a way to organize all these activities, but grew into a tool that helps me sustain wellness without burnout.
Over the last decade that’s gently shifted everything about my life - from where I live to what I consume to my overall purpose.
I found that play is the special sauce to it all. You can’t fake it and our brains are hardwired for it. Once I learned how to bring it to the front of the to-do list with alignment, things got a whole lot juicier.
And so the May is for Play Reset was born a few years ago - a way for folks to get a taste of this playful alignment - and it has quickly become my favorite month of the year!

Not at all. May is for Play is designed to be a great starting point, and a meaningful deepening for those who are already in our community. The only thing you need to bring is curiosity.

You won't "fall behind." That's not how this works. Each day is its own invitation — not a task to check off. Something is always enough. The daily prompts are flexible and the live calls are optional. You go at your pace.

Yes! And honestly, that might be exactly why it is. "I don't know how to play" is the most common thing! This whole experience is designed to help you find your way . The Play Personality Quiz is a great first step.

Mondays 9–10am PT (play education & research) and Fridays 8:30–9am PT (activities and play time). All calls are optional and recorded for replay if you can't make it live.

At the end of the reset you'll receive an invitation to continue your play practice with Hustle & Play — whether that's the Community Garden, a coaching container, or just to stay in touch. No pressure. Just an open door.
